Welcome!

Season’s Greetings and Happy Family Reunion!

Dear Patrons,

It has truly been a long, long time. Wow how we have missed you. With this concerts series, the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus kicks off the beginning of our 40th anniversary year and celebrates the resiliency of the human spirit! As we gather in person for the first time in two years, we will share the magic of the Holidays.

It is, indeed, a glorious reunion and a priceless gift of feeling connected to each other at this time of the year in person.

During the pandemic, we have witnessed people singing from balconies, families making music at home, and vocalists paying tribute to frontline workers…inspiring them to persevere. Our chorus here in Denver is built on this power of music and now finally we are here in live performance. We are the sound of a community reborn where our music strengthens and gives hope.

In our Holiday 2021 program, we have crafted a musical journey showcasing the versatility of the chorus’ repertoire and mastering many different genres and styles of music. With a mixture of the classics, sparkly new arrangements of Christmas carols, and camp like no one else can do, DGMC will brighten your season with cheer.

Now on with the show! The singers have been very busy since September with more than 50 hours of rehearsal to prepare for this special triumphant return concert.

It is our sincere hope that our musical gift to you will spirit you into and through the Holidays and well into the New Year. We deeply appreciate your support and thank you for being a part of our community of joy!
