Thank you for a fantastic Fiesta For All!

Denver Gay Men's Chorus, Rocky Mountain Arts Association News

Whether you saw us at the Armory (our first time in Brighton), at the majestic Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, or at the Falls Event Center in Littleton for Fiesta for All! All of us at DGMC are so grateful for you. The show really came together with beautiful partnerships with Zenergy Dancesport, Baile Caliente and Grupo Folklórico Semblanzas de México and was a breathtaking colorful journey through Hispanic and Latin culture.

We singers were in awe of the experience. The feedback we have gotten so far says it all too. Check it out. And go to our Facebook page to see all the colorful and beautiful imagery from the show…it’s a show we won’t soon forget. To our illustrious Artistic Director, James Knapp…thanks for the vision you have to make us so great in our mission of building community through music. This truly was a remarkable experience.

From the Executive Director of Museo de las Amerias –

What a beautiful surprise to receive the bouquet and the signed poster!  Many thanks to you and the chorus.

But I also want to mention that you did an incredible presentation, research and intercultural performance. All the details were well cared for culturally and artistically.

It is a concert to remember it. My daughter was more than fascinated singing and crying with “Recuerdame” (Coco). She enjoyed the concert at all times.

Laura and her daughters who also attended were very happy singing and moving.

This is the very first time that I see a concert at the Ellie Caulkins theater, all translated.  Bravo!

Hope to see you very soon and please lets stay in contact for future collaborations.

From the Artistic Director of the Denver Children’s Choir –

I came to your performance last night.  Your ensemble never ceases to amaze me.  I have attended many of your concerts and each one has quite a different feel.  Last night was elegant, polished and so classy!  I have Latin heritage and knew many of the song selections.  It was so inclusive and the messaging was so powerful at times.  You sang many of my favorites.

What amazes me is how present and attentive you are in every single song.  Your energy and enthusiasm takes the audience away on the journey with you.

Kudos to you James for putting together a cohesive, creative and enjoyable show!  The collaborations were so cool too and the colors in the production!

I was also totally jazzed by “Hoe-down for the Holidays”.  An absolute joy!

Thanks for being artists making the world a better place.

BOLERO, what they hell?  Loved it.  My favorite thing on the program.  You guys nailed it.  Kevin James – audience member

Dear Gents, I’m STILL reeling from your concert last night.  Hands down, its my favorite concert since my departure a few years ago.  Polished and detailed.  Bravo!  Damn Off Kilter sounded ON POINT!!!.  Well done.
