Following a year unlike any other, the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus presents Fierce, Fabulous and Moving Forward, an online concert event saluting the strong, bold and resilient LGBTQIA+ community. Fierce, Fabulous and Moving Forward premieres June 12, 2021 at 7:30 pm.
DGMC’s virtual Pride concert reaches new heights with a varied program of newly recorded performances, a selection of archived favorites and an appearance from Off Kilter!, DGMC’s dynamic a cappella troupe. This will be highlighted with multimedia elements and some inspirational testimonials from some singers of DGMC.
“From historic social unrest to the pandemic, the past year has reaffirmed that we are relentless, we are incredible and we are ready to march onward,” said James Knapp, Artistic Director, Denver Gay Men’s Chorus. “Fierce, Fabulous and Moving Forward echoes our community’s strength and determination. It promises to be a perfect Pride month concert event.”
Presented for free, individuals also have the opportunity to sponsor the program and support th
e Denver Gay Men’s Chorus. A $20 crescendo ticket sponsorship received by May 28 will list an individual’s name in the event’s closing credits. Donations allow DGMC to create online concerts and help the chorus stay afloat until members can sing together again. Register at dgmc.org to receive the viewing link prior to the June 12 event.
