(DENVER, CO) February 28, 2019 — The Denver Women’s Chorus (DWC) is proud to celebrate 35 years of action and change in the front range communities of Colorado with a very special event: Singing Our Stories for 35 Years: The Denver Women’s Chorus Anniversary Banquet, on April 4th, 2019 at the DoubleTree Stapleton North Hotel in Denver, CO.  Under the direction of Artistic Director Mark Zwilling, the 160-member ensemble will celebrate 35 years of performing as a chorus. The banquet begins with a reception and art exhibition celebrating the legacy and longevity of the Denver Women’s Chorus, followed by dinner, speakers, musical performances by DWC and Take Note!, the small group ensemble from the Denver Women’s Chorus, a silent auction and our drawing for a trip to New York City.

Musical performances by the Denver Women’s Chorus include selections drawn from their extensive repertoire. Songs include Imani, Lineage, Juntos, I Ain’t Afraid, Step by Step and You Are My Music
