Yvie Oddly to join DGMC this season

Denver Gay Men's Chorus, Rocky Mountain Arts Association News

YO! YO! YO!

We are thrilled to announce that Yvie Oddly, the (r)evolutionary drag queen performer, rapper, and fine artist, who captured the attention of the world when she won the eleventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, will join the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus for two special events this season.

On Friday, March 31, Yvie Oddly will headline Wish Upon a Star, a fundraiser to support DGMC.  The exclusive reception, taking place just before the opening night of Disney PRIDE, allows ticket holders to meet and greet with Yvie, watch her perform up close, and enjoy food and beverages while supporting Denver’s premier gay men’s chorus.  Adding to the flavor and flair, drag queen extraordinaire Dixie Krystals will serve as emcee.

On June 9 and 10, Yvie Oddly joins the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus on stage as a special guest during Divas: Icons and Justice Warriors.  DGMC’S Pride month concert event is a tribute to the music and performers of legendary women. From Billie Holiday to Lady Gaga, Barbara Streisand to J.Lo, and Judy Garland to Adele, these artists helped teach the gay community how to find their true selves and community.

Tickets for Divas: Icons and Justice Warriors at the King Center are on sale now. Tap HERE to reserve your seat today.

It’s an honor that Denver-based Yvie is taking the stage with DGMC. We hope you join in our excitement! The remainder of our 2022-23 season will be one for the memory books!
