We are so excited to announce A December to Remember, the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus’s online event celebrating the holiday season, premiering December 5, 2020, at 7:30 pm.
While we won’t be together in the electric environment of a live performance, we will be together in solidarity and spirit. DGMC’s production manager Stephen Wertz and Assistant Artistic Director Raul Dominguez are leading the charge, producing a one-hour-plus program featuring a collection of DGMC’s archival holiday favorites such as “Merry Everything,” “Recycle The Fruitcake,” and “Kislev Cowboys,” interspersed with newly recorded cabaret solos, newly recorded piano and organ duets, handbells, as well as a brand-new high-energy virtual ensemble performance of Britney Spears’s “My Only Wish (This Year),” and much more.
A December to Remember! will be presented for free. Register at denverchoruses.org to receive the viewing link prior to the December 5 event.
Patrons also have the opportunity to sponsor A December to Remember! and support the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus. A $20 virtual ticket sponsorship will list your name in the event’s closing credits. Individual song sponsorships are also available until October 29th for $200. Donations help the chorus stay afloat until members can sing together again, allow DGMC to create online concerts and more. Join us in the merrymaking and make your voice heard.
As always, the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus will put a smile on your face and a jingle in your heart just in time for the holidays! This is a December you’ll remember!
